About

Christopher Perea is an associate with Cummins, Goodman, Denley & Vickers P.C.  Mr. Perea’s practice focuses on representing Oregon employers in OSHA, workers’ compensation and other administrative law defense.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Perea’s practice focused on civil law, conflict resolution, estate planning and arbitration.

When Mr. Perea is not practicing law, he can be found hiking with his husky, tending his herb and vegetable garden, and exploring Oregon’s diverse and ever-changing food scene.

After graduating from college, I spent time as a substitute teacher and impact aid for the Poway Unified school district.  My time in the classroom and the relationships I built motivated me to seek change.  Becoming a lawyer has been a step in that direction.

My favorite aspect of being a lawyer is the problem solving.  Each case has its own set of facts and circumstances that require careful unraveling and often adopting new ways of looking at the information.

I also find the mental flexibility I am constantly developing through the practice of law serves me well outside the office as well.
