Law Practice

Kolbi Trebbien is an associate with Cummins, Goodman, Denley & Vickers P.C.  Her practice has focused on OSHA, employment litigation, workers’ compensation and other administrative law defense. In addition to representing employers in OSHA and workers’ compensation matters, she has been involved in the Oregon legislative and agency processes for developing statutes and regulations related to these practice areas.

Before coming to the firm, Mrs. Trebbien provided support for human resources departments in compliance-related matters, handling issues related to FMLA, OFLA, and ADA, employee benefits, employment law updates, union contracts, workers’ compensation and employee discipline.

When Mrs. Trebbien is not practicing law, she can be found spending time with her growing family exploring local parks or enjoying time with friends.  Mrs. Trebbien can also be found exploring wine country with her husband.

Since high school, I always had the ultimate plan and goal of attending law school and becoming an attorney. To further that goal, I participated in my high school’s mock trial team and attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law. In and after college, I took a detour from my intended career path and worked in human resources. This led me to the opportunity to work in corporate safety, which exposed me to workers’ compensation and OSHA matters. After a while, I realized that I was tired of handing matters off to our legal counsel to resolve. Through the encouragement of my boss and mentor at the time, I took the LSATs, and applied for law school. What I enjoy most about being an attorney is applying the law to the facts of each case. Each case is unique and requires a different analysis. Kolbi E. Trebbien
